Broome Celebrants

I've have had the pleasure to work with some amazing celebrants while photographing weddings in Broome. From experience, I think it is important to shop around for a celebrant that is going to fit with your personality and the ceremony you want. Planning a wedding can be pretty overwhelming but choosing the right celebrant means that they can can help you write your vows, chose music and sort all the legal paperwork. Make sure you get in early with the celebrant of your choice as they can book out well in advance, especially for weddings in Broome!

Elle Saunders

Elle is a self-confessed lovehustler! She is also a wife and mumma to three munchkin’s. Elle is a celebrant who brings all the feels, creates epic moments for her couples through sharing rad love stories. Elle puts her heart and soul into making sure each couples moment is 100% them. Her journey with each couple is all about supporting, guiding, being the stalker when she needs to, the shoulder to cry on, the voice of reasoning when asked. Elle’s one word of advice for all her couples is to make sure your moment is all about you and represents you as a couple, don’t get caught up in everyone else, what’s seen as tradition, what is expected, so do yourself a favour and create a moment that you can look back on and simply say that was amazing, that was us and I wouldn’t change a thing….Your Day, Your Moment, Your Marriage.

Nina Durack

Nina has lived in the Kimberley with her husband and two girls for the past six years. Nina has called Broome home since 2015 and loves being a part of weddings against the stunning Kimberley back drop. Nina’s aim is to make your day unique, special; all about the love you share and the presence of those you love; your family and friends. Nina’s aim is to guide and create a memorable wedding service, an unforgettable ceremony or a fun and fabulous elopement. Although based in Broome, Nina is happy to travel to where your hearts desire to ensure your perfect wedding day.

Emma Haynes

Emma is a primary school teacher who has wanted to be a marriage celebrant for many years now. Emma has lived in the Kimberley for the past nine years and loves the lifestyle. Broome and it’s scenery showcases a unique part of Australia and Emma wanted to be able to share this with couples in love and hence why she wanted to be a celebrant here. Emma is fun, vibrant and her goal is to create a truly unique ceremony that couples will remember forever. Emma’s tip to couples on planning for the ceremony itself is not to overthink things and aim to make it as personal as you can.

Kat Taylor

Like many celebrants, Kat got started when a dear friend asked her to officiate at his wedding. Now she can say that she has "married my best friends"! It's such a joy, and always something different. Each ceremony becomes Kat’s new favourite wedding! Kat is passionate about marriage equality and is excited that everyone can now get married, if they want. She hopes that marriage equality leads to a transformation in the way we see romantic partnerships and to throw out "The Rules". Seriously, burn that book. Relationships are what you make them. Likewise, wedding ceremonies. Kat’s tip for couples is don’t be shy to make suggestions. Anything, no matter how left field. Give us your ideas, your mushy stories, your silly or even heart breaking stories. Just let your true selves shine!

Dilhari - Kiss Me You Fool

Dilhari is a champagne loving, quirky, pocket rocket celebrant whose whole philosophy in creating epic weddings is to encourage couples to think outside the square and to make sure they have a ridiculous amount of fun along the way. Dilhari's style is an awesome balance of mush and humour, heavy on the humour of course. More than anything, she feels so very lucky to be part of a wedding day and watch two people, crazy in love, take that giant leap of togetherness. Her #1 tip for couples preparing their wedding is to keep coming back to what makes YOU TWO happy. She believes there are so many details that you can allow yourself to get bogged down with; most of them not worth the stress. But, at the end of the day, what matters is what is truly important to you two – what you love and how you bring that to life for that moment when you get to fist pump marrying the heck out of your person.
